thebesplayers Overwatch Weeklies are back on track, starting this weekend!

Many of you asked us, and after a short hiatus, we are now back on track with our GosuGamers Weeklies! Free up your weekends for the forseeable future.

After a few weeks of no GosuGamers Weeklies, due to Overkill/Overwatch downtime, we have managed to work out our plans for future Weeklies alongside our partners. This is why we are happy to announce the continuation of the longest running tournament series of Overwatch, starting this weekend.

We are happy to have ROCCAT and Matcherino back on board as sponsors, as well as OWKings.com. Without their help, we would not be able to provide a $500 prizepool, plus Matcherino donations, for every single Weekly.

We have tweaked our ruleset, compared to our Beta tournaments, so be sure to read up before your first match here. But the most important changes are:

  • Double Elimination Bracket
  • Pre-selected maps for Lower Bracket BO1 matches
  • BO1 matches until RO4 in both Winners & Losers Bracket
  • BO3 in Semi-Finals in both Winners & Losers Bracket
  • BO5 Finals with 1 map advantage for WB team
  • One hero limit for all maps
  • No Capture Point maps
