Thebesplayers : The Division Won't Have Player Trading System at Launch

will not include a gameplay system that allows players to buy and sell items with one another, at least not at launch. Associate creative director Julian Gerighty why the feature, which was reportedly discussed prior to launch, won’t make it into the game for its debut in March.

“It’s the reality of production. Some features make it, some features don’t,” he said, adding that the decision came down to a “priority of different features.”

Gerighty went on to say that, as The Division is an ongoing, evolving game, it’s possible that a player trading system could come someday.

“It’s something that obviously some people are very passionate about,” he said. “It’ll maybe make an appearance in the future.”
